We left St. Louis Saturday about 3 p.m. and spent the night at Exit 49 just outside of Kansas City. We took off again about 11 a.m. for our friends Larry & Rita's. That's out 5th wheel parked at their house. They have a great place out in the country and lots of open space. They showed us around Baldwin, the town that is closest to them. It has one stop light but it does have a small college. We road around in their mustage convertible and I thought maybe we were going to Route 66, but it was no where around. For all you old timers you may have heard of that.
Today is Monday and Jimmy & I
roade to Cabela's and looked it over and also visited a Bass Pro shop. Lots of stuff like that around here. I also have my cell phone back and working in case anyone needs to call me.
We are planning on leaving in the a.m. for Topeka and Nebraska traveling up route 75 in the country and staying off the interstate as much as possible. Will add some more pics.
