We drove through Nebraska today to Valentine. It was 93 degrees just like yesterday, Hot, Hot, Hot! It was extremely windy (30-40 mph). You could look out over the vast scenery and see nothing but dust blowing in the wind, Yeah reminds of a song!!!!

We started out near Omaha and saw many big farm silos for miles and miles. Then came the cattle ranches, tons of cattle in hugh dirt pens where they were feeding. We even saw a lonely buffalo among the herd. Then came the Sand Hills and they were green grasslands of sand where the cattle were allowed to graze on the grass. The and hills could be as high a 400 ft. and stretch for 9 miles.
